Founded by Dr. Nee Carter, a former collegiate and professional basketball player, U.S. Army Veteran, and retired Level I Senior Executive Service leader, which is the highest rank in the U.S. federal government — Greatness stands as a testament to discipline, perseverance, and faith in what’s possible.
Dr. Carter’s journey is the blueprint: from the court to the military, to the pinnacle of government leadership, he has lived a life defined by preparation, humility, and service. His vision for Greatness is not just to build basketball players but to build leaders, scholars, and men of purpose who understand that true greatness starts within.
What began as a dream to inspire young athletes has become a movement. Every practice, every drill, every game is a lesson in resilience and responsibility. At Greatness, players are taught to prepare relentlessly, respect the game deeply, compete fiercely, and pursue excellence daily on the court, in the classroom, and in life.
